Since I am constantly thinking about my next project and have a passion for anything creative, I decided to put my talents, interests and obsessions to good use and start my own business. The identity for the Creative Orchard GREW from my favorite fruit CRAVING and my communities' theme tradition...CHERRIES! The Creative Orchard started as a freelance graphic design source, but after dabbling in the advertising industry for a while and once I became a mommy, I decided to climb up a different TREE. Now, I get the privilege of working in my home studio, using my graphic design skills, sketching concepts, and brain storming FRESH ideas all day! Life is SWEET!
From a young age, I have always been drawn to artsy activities. My interests GREW more and more through the years as I was surrounded by a multi-talented family. My mom and grandma are crafters, painters, and gardeners, my dad is a carpenter, my cousin was a multi-media fine artist, my uncle was a wood carver and barber, one aunt was a hair stylist and the other aunt was a cake decorator. Thanks to my mom, I had the best birthday parties, none of them were cookie cutter. Now, I prefer to follow in her footsteps and try to host one of a kind, over the top parties that are usually all about the kiddos! Currently, my creative background consists of crafting, sewing, painting, drawing, pottery, photography, interior design, dessert decorating, marketing, party styling and graphic design. You name it, I have probably done it or will do it eventually! I work well under pressure, pay close attention to details and can provide a FRESH perspective. Each day I try to quench my THIRST for something new!
